In this assignment, you will individual research and analyze a large company involved in an Ethical Dilemma analyze its response to the ethical dilemma, review the company the company’s code of ethics, determine whether it acted in accordance with its code of ethics, and then provide your analysis regarding how the company should have responded in light of its code of ethics, and also analyze the code of ethics to determine whether it was sufficient, or whether you recommend any changes to it so that it could better deal with similar ethical dilemmas in the future.

Your assignment will include the following:

Headings:

A. Provide a full company profile, including details of the company’s business, its organizational structure, its governance model (Board of Directors, Executive, Committees).

B. Identify the Company’s Stakeholders utilizing what you have learned in class (Stakeholder Chart, Stakeholder Impact worksheet).

C. Detail the Ethical Dilemma the company faced and details of how they responded to the ethical dilemma.

D. Review the Code Of Ethics of the Company as it relates to the ethical dilemma, making sure you identify the relevant sections (if any) upon which the company would have made decisions regarding the dilemma.

E. Analyze and explain how the company breached its code of ethics AND/OR how the code of ethics was deficient in addressing the ethical dilemma.

F. Provide your recommendations as to how what the company could have done in the face of the ethical dilemma, including:

a. How should the company have responded?

b. What Ethical Principles should the company have employed?

c. What do you think the results would have been if the Company had:
i. Followed its code of ethics;
ii. Amended its code of ethics;
iii. Followed other ethical principles as set out by you in the above section.
