Your objective for this part of the assignment is to produce a set of planning and design documents that will be used to guide the actual production of your website. Create your plan before you begin work on your web site.
The website must consist of 6 HTML pages with:
a home page
a page that explains the background and expertise of the firm and the services that are offered
a page that provides “contact us” information
3 pages of content relating to your chosen area of digital marketing specialization. Each of these pages will consist of an essay/blog post of at least 400 words and MUST include references (in the form of links) to your sources. This is one of theways in which the consultant demonstrates their expertise to prospective clients.
PLAN STRUCTURE (please follow this numbering for your planning document)
SECTION 1: Goals and target audience
1.A very brief description of the business for which you are creating the website (where it is located, what it does, how long in business etc). You will be describing your fictional consulting business.
2.A sentence to explain the overall business purpose of your website.
3.A description of the target audience(s) for the site (demographics and psychographics).
4.A list of at least 10 specific goals for the website and the criteria that you will use to measure success. Use the following table format:
Important note: The site must be designed so that these objectives can be met.
5.The domain name and top level domain(s) that you would choose for your site. These MUST be available on the date that you choose them. Include a screen shot as evidence that the domains were available. Explain what the most important factors were that you took into account in selecting this name and top level domain(s).
SECTION 2: Information architecture, page layout etc
1.A site map for the site showing how the pages will link together (see sample provided on course website).
“Wireframes” or diagrams of each of the six pages that will be in your website, (these can be produced in Microsoft Word, or a diagramming program of your choice). These will act as the blueprints from which you will build your site. (See sample provided on course website)
Each diagram should show:
The layout (columns, sidebar etc) for each of the 6 pages in your site. (Use your chosen WordPress Theme Options to find this information).
b.The position of the navigation menu (for your chosen WordPress Theme), and the wording of the navigation labels.
c.The headings and subheadings for different areas of the page.
d.The positioning of the textual contents of each area of the pages and an indication of what the text will be about in each area (do not include the actual text itself in wireframes).
e.The location, size, name, and URL of at least one video that will be embedded in a content page (the video must provide appropriate content for that page).
f.The position of each image on the page, the filename, the image size (width and height) in pixels, and a description of what the image shows (this will be the same as the contents of the alt tag). Each page must include at least one image (in addition to banner images).
g.One of the six pages must include a form so that you can collect information from your visitors. Include the text that will be on the page that explains what the form is for, show the different form elements (text boxes, radio buttons etc) that you will use (you must include at least 3 different types), and the labels and hints that you will use for your form. When you build your site you will use Google Docs to create the form, then embed it into your WordPress page.
SECTION 3: Design “Look and feel” and usability
1.Details of the site concept (what “image” will the site portray to its target audience?)
2.The name, and a screenshot of the WordPress theme that you have chosen. Explain the reasons you chose that particular theme.
3.Screenshots (not printouts) of the home page from 2 sites from a similar consulting business that you feel represent good web design. Explain why these are effective web sites.

The overall purpose of phinix marketers

Phinix marketers help organizations to understand their markets. The targets audience of the organization website is those in the healthcare industry, e-commerce, restaurants and hotels, real estate marketing, and B2B industries.
To the health industry, the website will be engaging with the consumers in that sector. One of the sectors helping in searching for the very best talent which will be outside healthcare. This will help an organization to be patient-based than being policy-based. With E-commerce the site will help in meeting the various E-commerce channels which are search engine marketing commonly known as SEM; this will help reach on Google efforts. The site will also help in meeting SEO advertising methods. To the restaurants, the website will help in creating loyalty to the current hotel and restaurants programs. This will help in building a good rapport of an organization clientele. Second, with the site it will help in showing on top of Google search engine when people are looking for a place to eat. If the restaurants may be serving Greek food and someone where in Canada is searching for that place, the website together with Google will help in directing the customer into that place. The site will give a reason as to why they need to choose for a certain restaurants over others. In addition, the site will help in listing hotels that come-up on Google. Together with other tools such as Yext it will help local listing which will be across several sites. The website will help in reaching out to the local community i.e. reaching out to the target market for all the organizations. Most of Canadians look-up for hotels and restaurants online before moving out so it will goes without saying that this website will help hotels and restaurants in realizing new customers especially the low level hotels; most people usually want to view the hotel or the restaurant menu, address, phone number and hours and since phinixmarketers website is a user-friendly it will help in clients in providing all the information that it could be needed
Specific goals for the website
Coming up with a website is like running a business; this means that without very clear goals is just like driving or pricking a direction without knowing exactly where you are going. The major importance of setting up a goal before embarking in designing a website is that it helps in measuring the success of the website and re-assessing the business goals. It also helps in keeping the website building team focused. When setting the phinix marketers goals rules of SMART goals were followed i.e. the goals set were required to be specific. This helped in identifying why, which, who, what, and where. Second, all the goals were measurable; all the goals were required to measure one progress. This also rule will help in breaking the goals into smaller goals. The goal was to be attainable and relevant. The goal when building up a website is to drive the organization priorities. All the goals as indicated in the table ought to have a time-frame which was to be measured against. This is done by giving each and every goal a certain attainable and specific due data which is bound by time. All the goals ought to be planned, tracked, and written. All goals are required to be heard but not being too hard (Endsley, 2017).

The homepage is the first page is the home screen of the organization site. It is also referred to as the start screen. It is commonly offered to as the primary page a guest exploring to a site from a web search tool will see, for Phinix advertisers the homepage page fill in as a presentation page to draw in guests. The landing page is utilized to encourage route to different pages on the site by giving connects to organized and late articles and pages, and potentially a pursuit box. Once the visitor is on the home page they are able to view links to other pages.

One of the reasons as to why this site uses contact us page is to reduce spam; in here the organization email address is not available for spammers as they cannot harvest it easily. It also helps in information control. In here, the designer is able to capture the information they would wish from the customer. It also offers consistency in the site (Barnard, 2011).
The the capacity to draw in, connect with and take guests back to your site is basic to the accomplishment of any website. When looking for an innovative method to do this then any web designer needs to consider having videos on the site. Phinix marketers have adopted the use of the videos as shown in figure three so as to quickly deliver the organization message (Hand & Middleditch, 2013). First, a video or what other refers to as a recording is a great tool to get the organization message across in a format visitors, companions or clients will quickly and easily digest what the organization offers. This does not mean that mean that video completely replaces written content, but it is a great complement to your copy and will strengthen your message overall. In here as stated on the phinix website it ensures that phinix followers match the organization interests, behaviors of the organization’s customers. The organization also helps in building relationships which are engagements. In here phinix helps its clients in creating a very strong connection with the organization clients via engagement with the organization audience. Phinix marketers helps their clients to increase their engagement such as increasing likes to their clients’ social accounts. Phinix marketers assumes that the more client the organization have the more the engagement. It also helps the organization in increasing phinix;c clients’s weiste traffic. This in turn helps in increasing website traffic which in turn influences sales and leads. In here the organization helps in developing advertising campaigns which in turn drives very high volume on the organizational traffic. This also helps in increasing the organization conversation (Altstiel & Grow, 2013).
