Answer:
This report has depicted the scenario of an arbitrary contractor providing support facilities for the construction company in Australia namely, Pashendale Holdings Ltd (PHL). PHL had been planning to improve their level of consumers’ service and marketing and this consisted of a multi-tier approach to increasing the market share by acquiring new clientele. In order to achieve, the organization had developed a website redevelopment project, which had been approved by the current CEO of the organization, Virna Pashendale.
Project Scope
As stated by Mir and Pinnington (2014), project scope defines the deliverables, schedule, milestone, assumptions, constraints and objectives. The key milestones and deliverables in the project are defined by the scope. In this project, a website will be designed for Pashendale Holdings Ltd, which will enable them to enhance the marketing and consumer services.
Project Objectives
The purpose of redeveloping the existing website was development of a new website that is rich in content comprising of client testimonials, other industry information, an affiliate network platform, recent company news, and new building developments. However, the organization wished to develop the website having a user-friendly interface for the clients. The website has to be as such that it facilities the company to work more closely to the clientele and provide better solutions.
Project out of scope
This defines the variables that will lie outside the scope of the study which means that the factors that has been avoided due to shortage of time and budget constraint (Svejvig and Andersen 2015). This project has not included any work that is related to the intranet site of Pashendale Holdings Ltd. This is the reason that the organization will be using contractors having adequate resources for building, designing, implementing and testing the new software. This can be considered as one of the limitation or constraint for the project.
