E-business models are affected by e-enabling technologies
E-commerce business models are enabling usage of multiple technologies and allowing for growth of corporations. A e-business model is similar to a business model that is designed for a company such that it can generate revenues and make profits from operations. The components of e-commerce model include functionalities of business that includes revenues that is generated as against expense that occurs. These components and functionalities are made of various technologies such that a value proposition can be generated as against a revenue model describing market opportunities. An effective e-commerce model includes optimum usage of technologies such that its competitive environment can be assessed to extend competitive advantages to develop a market strategy. Such models also allows for organizational development along with management teams. Thus, with such varied responsibilities and roles it can well be understood that technologies that provide safety, security as well as features that enables steady evaluation technologies that are incorporated into the same. The models can either be business to business or business to direct customers hence such technology enabled features has to be accommodated accordingly.
E-enabling technologies driving e-business models and describe how such technologies impact on a company’s operations
One of the most prominent of all e-business models encompasses payment systems which contribute in a great manner in a company’s operations. A payment system is the most secure facet that allows for incorporation and continued sustenance of the business. Payment systems need to be secured as well as well-fitted to a company’s operations such that it allows for the business be conducted. Payment is the backbone for any business as it responsible for generation of revenues as well as in profits for the business hence contributes to driving of e-business models.

In a highly competitive industry Porter’s five forces model has appropriate suitability to match business environment such that Internet enabled economy can be powered.
Industry Rivalry: Each sector within the framework of internet technology and e-commerce is experiencing immense industry rivalry. As for example retail products concerns Amazon as well as Flipkart and so on.
Threat of substitute products/services: As internet enabled ecommerce platforms provides various and multiple types of products and services they experience high amounts of threats from similar products and services as well.
Threat of new entrants: There is immense threat of new entrants that makes competition stiffer amongst various competitors.
Bargaining power of suppliers: Bargaining power of suppliers who develop such pages and provides inputs is relatively higher.
Bargaining power of buyers: The bargaining power of buyers is also relatively high as there are multiple service providers of similar services available.
Compare it with other framework
Various other frameworks are present that is used to understand the industry level of competition. Yet those frameworks are not as detailed as that of Porter’s Five Forces analysis. A blue ocean strategic framework is another competent tool that allows for description and analysis industry wide framework for understanding primarily growth capabilities for a particular industry. Blue ocean strategy is particularly useful for understanding and forming a suitable expansion strategy for the industry along with the company and allows for organic growth structure.

There are various web enabled technologies that allows for integration and development of complex technologies and their infrastructures, most prominent amongst them consist of Web-1.0/Web-2.0/Web-3.0 and so on and so forth. The advent of such internet technologies and development has allowed integration of complex models for e-business strategies. Web 1.0 is an Internet platform before 1999 and functions more like read only models that are used to only transfer information and read them and could not have any sort of complex features.    
Web-2.0 started the evolution towards the beginning of 1999 which had notable contributions. Its basic features included interactions from various users that allowed interacting over the net which included technical as well as non-technical writers. It was during this era that blogs, social media and video streaming was accommodated into being for publishing various contents.
Web 3.0- marks the age for the semantic executing of web. It was during this era that not only read-only features but there were execute only features that was accommodated into being. It was mostly in this period that ecommerce gained immense insights as well as transaction platform that allowed for web applications and other functionalities.
