Compile an annotated bibliography of research materials that focuses on how multinational firms expand their operations to a new market.

(1) This is the first part of the individual project where you will compile a bibliography of research materials sources related to how multinational enterprises adapt to a new market.

First, choose a specific multinational firm and a market where it expanded its operations. (e. Walmart and China, Target and Canada etc…)

(2) Next, as related in class this week, you will find your materials from a variety of sources: books and journals, scholarly electronic databases, the Internet and Government and Industry. I will post links on the ECentennial course shell to get you started on how to access these databases.

(3) You will need to find 5 good sources related to your market. Your sources should cover a variety of information related to your company and its new market. Find sources which relate to:-History of the firm its own market -Strategy to expand internationally-Marketing strategies, geopolitical strategies to adapt to its own market -Successes and Failures

(4) Compile your sources in the format of an annotated bibliography. That is, don’t merely list your sources. You also have to write a brief paragraph for each entry in your bibliography. Describe each source, assess its strengths and weaknesses, and indicate how you will use this source in your final report.
