Assessment 2 You need to undertake independent research to successfully complete this assessment in order to develop and demonstrate knowledge in this area. This assessment builds upon the work you completed in assessment 1. In assessment 1 you were asked to select an Australian bank and undertake the following steps: Analyse what you think the security and privacy issues are. These could relate to the bank you have selected and their possible usage of data and analytics systems; Recognise and apply the relevant ethical, regulatory and governance constraints on banks and the sector when dealing with data and analytics and then describe your findings. This second assessment builds upon your work from assessment 1 and you are asked to: Focus on the technology solution that your bank can employ; Identify the bank structures/process that need to be in place to ensure the privacy of data is ensured. What you need to do next is: Select a technology that your bank could use (we have been exploring a lot of technologies and security systems in this unit); Assess the technology solutions you have selected and how it would impact the privacy and security of data (you may want to develop a criteria); Reflect and describe the organisational structures process you’re your bank may need to ensure that the privacy and security of bank data is ensured. Your bank technology assessment will be presented in a formal report. Report structure The structure of the report of 3000 words could be broken down in the following sample way: Executive Summary of your report findings (250 words). Technology Solution Assessment (1400 words)—an assessment of the technology how it could impact the privacy and security of the data. Organisational Change Assessment (1400 words)—an assessment of how the technology you have selected could change organisational processes and justify why the changes would be needed.
