Assignment 2 Project Diary You are required to communicate bi-weekly with your supervisor about your workplace activities and reflect on these activities from the perspective of your studies. These communications must be 350-400 words 6 times over the course of semester. MARKING CRITERIA What the Assessor will be looking for when marking this assignment 1. Clarity: A concise and clear outline of activities. A detailed timeline of your activities including work-related events already scheduled and your assignment deadlines as negotiated with your supervisor. 2. Relevance: Evidence of thinking and negotiation with the host organisation about your placement and tasks and their relevance to your studies in International Relations and its relevant subfields, for instance, human rights, international law or security studies. 3. Reflective Thought: Reflection on the tasks, planning and outcomes of your activities on a weekly basis. A coherent and thoughtful assessment of your learning experience, in relation to questions of team work, problem solving and effective communication. This may include your consideration of problems you faced in particular occasions. 4. Expression: Writing and grammar should be clear and consistent. Essay structure should consist of paragraphs containing one core idea – use dot points only when 9 and ‘mini-paragraphs’ only when necessary.
