a) Project outcomes
Project outcomes will most likely to relate to your ability to complete or do something
during your internship which is relevant to your degree studies. Outcomes should define
what you will achieve during your internship period. Examples might be:
Compare and evaluate current induction processes for new graduates across the
organisation.
Develop a current asset register for the organisation.
b) Strategies
This concerns the strategies you will adopt during the internship to achieve your defined
project outcomes. Make sure these strategies are realistic in terms of the available
timeframe, resources and your own capabilities.
c) Deliverables or performance indicators?
Your deliverables are tangible and measurable things that will indicate if you have met your
outcomes. They might include a policy, strategy or system you have developed, or an
event you have organised. It will be what you deliver to your host organisation – in the form
of an oral presentation and final report, upon completing your internship.
Please ensure you discuss the content of your report and oral presentation with your host
supervisor as this will be shared with your academic mentor/Unit Coordinator and may
raise concerns with sensitive data or breaching of confidentiality agreements.
