2. Write a personal approach to teaching statement. This statement must address why, how and what you teach.
The statement must link to Children’s Rights Education, the ECA Code of Ethics, Early Years Learning Framework Principles and Practices, and the Australian Professional Teaching Standards. –
3.Analyse theoretical pedagogical approaches to teaching and assessment.
4.Critique contemporary teaching and assessment approaches utilised in early childhood.
5. Examine the importance of the professional and ethical role of teachers in teaching and assessing young children.

Answer:

Statement
According to the Early Year Learning Framework, the field of teaching should instigate the basic curriculum attributes of social emotional intellectual and physical development among students. In my teaching profession, I would strive to develop this attributes among students by providing them interactive setting to communicate and develop both physically and mentally (education.gov.au, 2020). In the following study, I will demonstrate the various methods I will apply to make the teaching processes effective, adhering to the Early Year Learning Framework (EYLF).
Personal Approach to Statement
The Early Year Learning Framework (EYLF), compare the Australian Commonwealth of match to incorporate National curriculum in all children learning settings. The Framework was built upon three main concepts they are Belonging, Being and Becoming. This has helped me in understanding the theoretical context the framework instigates debate around Australia especially about its writing and implementation. They have been many scholars who have put forward their arguments against the implementation of EYLF framework. I have researched and found that, according to the authors building the concept of belonging within children is a contiguity of concept of being and becoming (Peers & Fleer, 2014). According to my observations, when a child relate the learning session similar to a homely setting he or she can easily integrate and communicate with the teachers and other children. By creating different learning settings I have understood that development of interactive and colorful setting help the children to interact and built their mind set, so that the children can adapt themselves in the forthcoming years, be it in field of personal life and professional workplace. I would like to create realistic settings, so that children understand the real world, and become capable of adapting to various situations.
In case of providing learning Framework as an educator I thrive to adhere by the Code of Ethics, educators are expected to behave appropriately and professionally while teaching or in presence of an educational setting.
According to the United Nations conventions on the rights of the child (1991), every educator must follow the ECA Code of ethics. The easier code of ethics provides a pedagogical research and practice, influences teachers to adopt reflective practices for fulfilling ethical responsibilities while providing education to children. On the other hand, reading about ECA code of ethics have made me acknowledged Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people and children to respect their traditional methods in caring for the children, I have even adapted  those traditions in my learning methods and settings (earlychildhoodaustralia.org.au, 2020). In the previous decades, the original people was restricted from following their traditional methods of teaching and instigating their cultural aspects. The ECS code of ethics acknowledges the cultural aspects of aboriginal people and even encourages them to teach their children accordingly.

Theoretical and Pedagogical aspect of asking questions
The technique of providing learning to children by the method of questioning includes both open ended and closed ended questions, eventually helping me to understand the cognitive skill development of every individual child. I have implemented and acknowledged Bloom’s taxonomy of cognitive domain being an appropriate theoretical model, which can be applied in this context effectively questioning children according to their age to understand that cognitive mindset. Bloom’s taxonomy of cognitive domain have six attributes that includes understanding remembering, applying, analysing, evaluating and creation(Diab & Sartawi, 2017). Therefore, in case of open ended question they are only applicable to the preschoolers age ranging from 5 to 8, as this questions need higher cognition skills. According to Australian professional standards there are three aspects to be taken into consideration, they are professional knowledge practice and engagement of the teachers. In case of professional knowledge as a teacher, I should be professional and have the ability to research about the various needs of the students based on their family background, cultural and religious backgrounds. My learning through my practices and developing my professional skills, I have understood the perspective of professional practice every teachers should make in making learning process engaging and valuable, an interactive environment helps in children interacting with each other. Education as a bound to create a safe and creative environment so that every children learn about various challenging factors of environments. Training process of teachers should be highly sophisticated so that they can create communication between various children belonging from different cultural perspectives. In case of professional engagement, I have followed the most effective pedagogical model, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and have inculcated reflective practices for developing their skills, which will help in further development of providing students a good learning environment. I have developed effective interaction with students, colleagues; parents eventually helping me in developing the educational setting and overall standard of education in Australia. A teacher should be well learned and practice the standards of education provided by Australian professional standard for teachers.
Critical analysis of Contemporary teaching and assessment approaches
There are two main framework that are applied to children learning and development, that is EYLF framework and Australian Professional Standard for Teachers. In case of EYLF, it projects fairness and helping the children adapt to various culture. According to Article 29, United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, every children irrespective of his background must be exposed to various opportunities that will help them develop their personalities, and develop and discover through the gradual process of growing and learning. I have adhered to, Article 2,5, 7,17,29,30 which involves in developing learning setting inclusive of the Aboriginal and Torres islanders(unicef.org.au, 2020).
Personal Approach to Teaching
Therefore, according to Australian Government, every childhood educators should follow the EYLF Framework, as this practice enables the educators to follow the basic principles in providing learning to students. According to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (the Convention), that every children ranging from age 0-5 years must get their basic right to education to create strong foundation from the early years(docs.education.gov.au, 2020). That will maximize their ability, build a sense of responsibility, towards their family, grow a sense of adaptability to every culture, and respect other identities and languages other from his personal cultural background and languages. This will prepare the children to grow, thrive, participate, learn, grow and work in diversified environment.
Therefore, the various techniques I would adapt to provide better education is adhering to the technique of questioning, for this is the ideal process by which the mindset of children can be understood. Questions can be asked only when there is amiable relationship among children and teachers, the questions then can include the initiation with asking, “why”, “what”, “how” and “who”. By answering to this questions children can learn about themselves, as well provide the idea to the educators for handling them in a much better manner. Although, children of different age should be handled in a particular ways. A baby should be provided an object by which he recognizes and started learning things, in case of toddlers one word helps in provoking response from the child. On the other hand, while handling the preschoolers, age ranging from 5-8 should be asked complex questions, so that they can develop their understanding about the realistic world.
Importance of the professional and ethical role of teachers in teaching and assessing young children
The part of critical thinking is progressively identified with this present reality. The educators can manage the children in the comprehension of the way where the data assimilated by them should be basically utilized. Be that as it may, it relies on the insight and application level of the children to apply this information to defeat the issues looked by them.
The field of information apparently is significant for the development and improvement of the understudies. They secure significant information from their instructors and they use this information in a way whereby it helps to improve their style of living. For example, training helps in the advancement of the basic point of view inside the understudies. This permits the understudies to take a consistent comprehension of the various difficulties, which are presented before them and under take those choices which would give them the greatest bit of leeway. As per the early year learning outline work of Australia, a child is considered to have the best beginning in their lives with the guide of training so they can fabricate a manageable future for themselves and for the public on the loose. The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers suggest that the various instruments of instructing give a component to the instructors to decolonize the provincial generalization talk, which is planned by the individuals from the public. In this way, an understudy gets mindful of the social wrongs, which are available in the public. With the guide of training, they attempt to alleviate such indecencies and figure a public which is increasingly comprehensive and dependable in nature.
