Learning outcomes:
This assessment is designed to make the students write a critical reflective research journal about the last enterprise bargaining exercise in week 11/12 of the course. The reflective research learning journal should exhibit student’s reflections, critical analysis and explanations based in concepts and theories presented during the course around the impact of the negotiation modes/technology used for the exercise, (online asynchronous text, online video one-on-one, online video multiple parties), negotiation process, content/outcome and own reactions and skills development. Journal reflections should be linked with course readings as a basis for critically analysis of each negotiation.
Objective:
Students will write an individual reflective research journal about the last enterprise bargaining exercise in week 11/12.
Task Description :
The individual reflective journal will be written about the final enterprise bargaining negotiation.
Students will have developed negotiation skills and experience with different modes of negotiations (online asynchronous text, online video one-on-one, online multiple parties as well as for some face to face negotiations) throughout the trimester. Different negotiation exercises, groups, processes and outcomes also provide a rich background for the final reflection in the course.
Based in the course experiences, skills development and the three previous reflections, students will critically reflect on process, outcome, skills, strategy and pro’s and con’s with regards to the mode/technology of the last enterprise bargaining exercise. It should also include a reflection around learning outcomes and usefulness (or not) of the negotiations experiences and online technologies gained in the course.
The written expression can be personal, but needs to exhibit use of negotiation concepts, vocabulary and references. The student can decide a structure for the journal ensuring that the above listed points are covered.
