Write down the psychological type of someone whose type is completely opposite of yours (e.g., ESTP is the opposite of INFJ). Using Myers-Briggs concepts, describe how the relationship between the two of you could be uncomfortable. Describe also how you might be able to complement each other.

Answer:

Psychological type
The Myers-Briggs psychological type test suggests my personality type be a Defender (ISFJ-T). My personality is unique as the traits refuse to define my individual traits. According to the Myers-Briggs psychological type, it is said that defenders have excellent analytical skills along with well-developed people skills. However, the contrary, the defenders are conservative and reserve but robust social relationships (“Members Area | 16Personalities”, 2017).
Impact of my psychological type at workplace
The result of the MBTI test suggests prominent characteristics such as introversions, observant, feeling, judging and turbulent within me thereby, affecting my relationships and behaviors in the workplace (Behaz & Djoudi, 2012). Due to my introvert nature, it takes me a considerable amount of time to mix up with my working environment or new changes in the working environment. As a result, I feel hesitant in communicating and establishing a friendlier bond with my fellow workers. Alongside, my ability to take decisions and cope up with situations are indicated my feeling nature. At my workplace, the emotions and sensitive nature dominate my ability to take decisions and cope up with emergencies. As a result, I emphasize more on social harmony and cooperation. Due to this nature, I am able to establish a positive and friendly working environment thereby, working in peace. On the contrary, this nature prevents me from voicing my opinion thinking what others might think. At certain instances, the decisions taken by me at workplace might be incorrect, as it is influenced by emotions.
On the other hand, due to my observant nature, I am humble and pragmatic. My pragmatic nature is beneficial at the workplace, as this allows me to emphasize on realistic things such as things happening or things that have happened. The realistic analysis helps me in planning thereby, increasing the chances of success. Due to my judging nature, I prefer being thorough, highly organized along with preferring proper structure and planning. This nature has helped me at the workplace as this allows me plan and organize things ahead. As a result, I am able to mitigate probabilities of failure and completion of tasks before time. However, emphasizing more on planning and organizing restricts me from enjoying my work. Due to my turbulent nature, at certain instances, my perfectionist trait results in stress at the workplace that is difficult for me to handle. But, my eagerness to improve has provided me success at workplace thereby, enhancing my career.  
Explain the impact on the relationship with an individual with opposite personality
My personality is completely opposite to INTP that results in difficulty at the workplace. This is because the individuals with INTP trait is rationally argumentative and considers mind over heart while taking decisions. For example, as long as the decision is correct, individuals with INTP trait will take decisions based on evidence and logic. On the contrary, due to my nature, I consider emotions over the mind that result in conflicts at the workplace. On the other hand, an INTP individual is easy going and does not prefer involving themselves into a fight for others. However, my nature allows me to stand and fight for others even if I am not involved thereby, making a huge difference. As individuals with INTP trait hardly let their emotions influence their decisions, I find them little harsh and cold.
Individuals with INTP trait and I can use each other’s weaknesses and strengths for developing both personally and professionally. I can learn their ability to use mind over emotions in taking decisions at workplace whereas they can learn my trait of helping others even if they are not involved.
