“Challenges and Strategies Opportunities for Singapore firms doing business with India! Resources, Peoples, Cultures, Institutions.” What challenges would face you did business here in Asia with people from India, or if you did business in that culture. – Each group will examine a national culture. Using a variety of national culture frameworks you will describe and assess the principal dimensions of the chosen culture. What would a person from India need to know to work with Singaporeans? What would surprize that person? What should a Singaporean (or from anywhere) know about the culture in India? – You decide how to structure your paper. Simply listing ideas of others is not as useful as describing ideas of others and then applying that information to your chosen country. – Sample Project Titles The Argentinian Mind: A Cross-Cultural Perspective for the International Manager.  Different Leadership Styles –Indonesia and Singapore compared.  Confucianism and Management: How Today’s Korean Managers Think.  Management of Cross Cultural Teams which include Japanese  Uncertainty Avoidance and Foreign Managers in Egypt – Structure and Format As in all UCD papers, please use 12 point font, use reasonable (1 inch) margins, and use double spacing or 1.5 spacing, and be sure to number all pages. Page numbers should be included on each page. Students may structure the report as they see fit. YOU decide. Include 15-25 reference that is not part of the 10 page body word count if possible.
