You have been asked to plan for the recruitment and selection strategy to attract 20 new tutors for a new college delivering business degree courses in Peterborough in September 2014. Specifically you have been asked to: 1. Selection As a minimum you should: • Explain the role and importance of selection from a corporate and employee perspective • Evaluate the different options available for selection • Make specific recommendations for an appropriate selection process, giving reasons for your ideas • Write an interview plan (if chosen) which incorporates sample questions to be asked (with reasons).
