There are many ways of learning to the academicans but using new technology make it easy. Learning that is supported by information and computing technology (ICT) is a new technology.E-learning is a new technology. It is not only limited to digital literacy but also includes multimedia technologies, DVD, internet, CD-ROM, use of various softwares, online learning, etc.

E-learning is defined as all forms of learning supported by various technologies, softwares, and convienience. It makes easy for the person to learn through online rather then physically going to class and attending lectures. As technology is growing day by day, it becomes very easier for the students specially to learn through e-learning. E-learning can be used for distance education. For example: There is a university LPU, they have campus is various cities but the main campus is in Sunshine coast. so all the subjects run by the main campus. Now with a new session in brisbane campus, some students wants to do one particular subject which is not delivered in there campus so they have to do by distance education from the main campus.So with the facility of E-learning it becomes very easier for the students to do their course. In E-learning they deliver online lectures, E-books, online discussions, online meetings. So E-learning makes learning very easier and attractive.

There are so many benefits of online learning. A person do not need to be physically go to the class or present to attend the lecture. It saves lot of travelling time of the person. he/she can just do there normal daily work at when get some free time just sit on their computer and go online by login into their account and have look on there learning. they can listen audio lectures of their teachers if they missed online lectures, they can put queries online if they have any problem regarding the subject or any topic, they can chat with other students or teacher online if not getting anything related to the topic. It is more likely in class study because you are putting questions in a group and can give feedback, only difference is you are not physically attending the boring class instead you are sitting at home and doing study while relaxing.  So there are so many pros of online learning.

E-learning technology makes it easier for teachers as well. they can put attaractive images, examples, videos, etc to make their presentation more attractive and understandable, so that everyone can learn without any problem. It also encourges self-paced learning among the students. E-learning is an innovative step in the field of learning.
