Formative assessment task
The purpose of this task is to begin to prepare you for the summative assignment at the end of the module. The formative work will ultimately fit within the final assignment. All guidance on the assignment is included below; the highlighted aspects refer to the formative.
The final summative assignment is a response to the following statement: In the light of their earlier critical reflection on their practice, participants should discuss the implications for their developing professional practice in the context of current professional standards (in the case of Scotland, the Standards as provided by the GTCS) and current views of professionalism, based on relevant literature, leading to a programme of professional development presented in the form of an action plan.
