The element 1 is part of Dissertation module for Master degree. This part of the Dissertation carries 20% weightage of marks and without completion of Element 1 on stipulated time (February 2017 in case students of cohort 1 now attending Dissertation module) mentioned the student cannot move to element 2. The element 1 is necessarily to establish the literature review on the topic selected and understanding of the same through discussion and to conclude the understanding. As a result of the above the student will produce a conference styled paper consisting of 10 pages, which will be presented in a forum. The element 1 is purely marked by the internal supervisor (CCE). The following will be a guide to formulate element 1:
This section shall detail about the overview of the project and introduce the topic with its necessity in the current scenario and justification for why you chose this topic. This section can contain details of location, project, company details (if the organisation has no problem), the magnitude of the project and finally mention what is your aim and objective in doing this project.

This section shall cover a wide range of literature in general as well specific to your topic. You must at least show an evidence of referring 25 or more literature. Please note that, do not mention literature which are not directly or indirectly linked to your topic.
You shall review the literature author by author and place their views/findings on the topic and critically discuss/compare the findings.
