BSBWHS401 Implement and monitor WHS Policies Procedures And Programs To Meet Legislative Requirement
As a supervisor in the workplace you will be required to train staff about legislation, regulations, policies and procedures related to work health and safety (WHS). Sometimes this might be in an informal setting, say at a toolbox meeting, or sometimes in a more formal setting, say in a staff training room. In any case this is an important part of your job, and no matter the setting you need to give your full attention to such training. Lives may depend on it.
Listed below are the steps required for this assessment. You must research, plan and deliver a 5-minute talk to your workgroup. This task will be due in Week 5. You need to submit a recording of your talk, and it should be recorded in front a group of at least 4 team members, who should be prepared to ask questions. If you wish you can make arrangements to do your talk in the Collaborate online classroom, a Microsoft Teams meeting, a Zoom meeting or other meeting software in front of other class members. You will need a minimum of 4 group members, and then submit the recording with your assessment below. The Meeting software you choose will need to have the ability to record your meeting.
Once you have decided how you will present your training session:
