Question:
Discuss out the BSB20115 Business Administration. The manager of the organisation needs to give her a training session for helping her understand her work rile and motivate her to take an initiative to improve her performance.
Answer:
Introduction:
In every larger or big organisation communication is the major source of success for the business as well individual performance. In the given case, it has been seen that the individual has started a new job but she is not clear about her actual duty and procedure on her task of meeting new people and answering phone calls. In this aspect, the organisational members have provided the individual with a manual to study. However, there were no relevant details she could find on her task (Wang et al. 2016).
Considering this, the new joined in the organisation is required to communicate to her respective managers and hierarchy manager through a verbal or nonverbal procedure. There are senior leaders within every team those who are appointed with the responsibility to check and approve the emails and messages. In this context, the new joined needs to create her email or newsletter is such a way to communicate her problems clearly following the respective standards of the organisation (Jackson 2014). She has to be sure about the styling guide that informs about the formulation of the information.
However, in the case of teamwork, usually a different set of people represent a group. In case understanding her duty, she had to work alone for some time for understanding the requirement of the team. While dealing with this she may encounter some employees or peer colleagues who may be annoying, irritating. However, she has to learn to manage and respond to individual differences within the workplace and communicate with all her peers to understand her specific role (Mishra et al. 2014). This is because communication plays a major role in the success of any workplace activities and individual policy that serves as the foundation of the psychologically healthy environment.
Drawing on the problems faced by the new joined, she can address the bottom-up communication method by interacting with the immediate seniors that will provide her with the information about the requirement of the employee values and perception. In case if the employees within the workplace are not aware of the duty or role that is needed to be done by them, managers are required to help the employees to illustrate her job role and set a goal for meeting the requirements of the organisation (Raina and Roebuck 2016). The manager of the organisation needs to give her a training session for helping her understand her work rile and motivate her to take an initiative to improve her performance.
However, the new joined is needed to communicate her problem to her manager with a clear implication about her difficulty face by her. The focus here should be in the collaborative problem-solving. If the employee faces any problem in talking to her manager, she can also take help of her peer colleagues for helping her with the difficult situation. In this first of all, she has to email her problem to the hierarchy. After getting the mail approved, she has to illustrate her problem verbally for expressing the difficulty faced by her within the organisation.
