Individual Assignments REQUIrED Individual Assignment: Selecting a Contemporary Issue So far in this module, you have explored contemporary issues in project management including the useof maturity models and new project management paradigms. You also examined the impact ofambiguity. This unit you explored the complex nature of the project context. All of these diverse topicsare similar in that gaps have been found between the related academic body of literature, theory andpractice. For this Individual Assignment, you will research a contemporary issue of your choosing. Theissue you choose will also be the basis for your Final Project. This issue, like the others you have examined so far in this module, should be one in which knowledge gaps or controversies exist withinthe academic literature, theory and practice. To complete this Assignment: Describe the project management issue you are going to investigate. Provide a rationale for why you chose this issue. Explain gaps you have observed or perceive between the academic literature and theoriesand practice. Cite two representative research articles using Harvard Style. Briefly summarize the articlesusing some of the guidelines from the How to Critique an Academic Paper handout as abasis. Be sure to support your assignment with evidence from the Readings and other currentliterature from the UoRL Library and other credible sources.
